Encourage our kids to get a good education, finish high, go to community college or technical/vocational school, or get an undergraduate/graduate degree. Then they won't have to worry about trying to survive and/or raise a family on a minimum wage job. The low-paying jobs will always be there, albeit not so many. As for we MTs, if you have enough working years ahead of you, make plans now for alternative training. Some will say "not so easy to do", but you have to do something before it's too late.
