robots. Lots of industries are already using robotics. Just this morning I heard about a steel mill in Pennsylvania that once that 2000 employees and now has about 200 because the plant is being run with robotics. What we need in this country is a push toward technical/vocational education at all levels so people can have well-paying jobs now and in the future. Service industry (fast food, etc.) jobs can go back to being part-time jobs for students and/or second jobs for anyone who wants to supplement their income or just work part time. Of course the minimum wage needs to go up, but slowly. In my state, it has crept up to $10.50 and in Mass it is now $11.00 without a devastating impact on prices. Don't worry, people with better-paying jobs on the technical side will have money to buy their burgers.
