Everyone gets paid the same, 3 cents a line, no matter how much experience you have. Older, more experienced MTs get the harder accounts and the heavier accents, are held to a higher standard, yet get paid less. The younger MTs get the easier accounts, the local accents and make more money. Clear discrimination.
I strongly encourage all older employees to make an age discrimination complaint against Medquist/M-Modal, TTS, and the others who are blantantly and without shame discriminating against older, experienced employees. They are BULLIES who beat down the experienced workers, trying to make you feel useless. They have the attitude of dominating the market so you play by their rules or where do you go? BULLIES. Stand up and make a complaint against them for AGE DISCRIMINATIONn.
