My facility uses Dragon and Epic. 90% of the providers use VR and make their own corrections, we outsource a few who choose to straight dictate and QA their work when it is returned to us. I have never reviewed anything that was generated by Dragon. My transcription department went from 22 people to none, I was brought back for QA for a time but that job has been eliminated too, that is how it will affect your job. Your department will be downsized, probably gradually over time. Everyone from my department now works in medical records or other departments within our facility.
