I simply hate the actual job of editing. Loved it when it was actually MT.

MModal is the same as working at any other low level job. Though it requires quite a significant level of skill, it pays as if it is an unskilled job and you are treated as such.

I will say I worked for Nuance before coming to MModal and MM is about 1000% better than Nuance in every possible way.

Ultimately, it's better than flipping burgers or cleaning toilets, that knowledge is what gets me through each day.
