I am fairly new also and feel the same way. It already seems like a no win situation. I had never heard of blanks being counted against you. Even when it is for reasons out of your control, you still have to stay below a certain percentage. We cannot control the sound quality, yet at the end of the day if too many blanks, we are the ones who are penalized. Then for trying so hard not to leave blanks, spending too long trying to fill them in, the line count goes down, and that is something else. Entirely too many different ways to fail with this place.
