They are getting rid of the ambulatory side, and our TSMs whole work force will be pretty much gone, some in a week, others a little longer. They are allowing some of us to leave with our accounts. The rest have the opportunity to switch to acute care. My understanding is that all ambulatory will be leaving at some point. But we were not "fired" and given options. I feel horrible for those who have insurance and have literally about a day to decide what they're doing and then figure out what to do about their insurance as well. None of this is fair as hard as we've worked, but I haven't shed a tear. It's a change, but this change could be something that makes things a lot better, so I'm definitely open to it!
