I was working as an in-house transcriptionist at a small local hospital. One of our coders decided to become a SAHM, and I was offered the position if I was willing to go to school. They are paying for my school (Andrews)and my certifications (CPC and CCS). In return, I will work for the hospital for at least 2 years after obtaining certification. I also am going to school on top of working full-time hours. I was extremely lucky, but it does happen.
