You are not a coder and do not seem to understand the industry. No, it is not going the way of MT, but it is impossible to discuss that here because actual coders have been driven away by people like the one above. My suggestion is for the OP to find a Facebook page for coders that does not permit anonymous or inflammatory posts, like JFAMC or the medical coding forum, where they can get appropriate information.
Unfortunately, no, there are no companies that train. It's too difficult and too expensive. They expect professionals to obtain their own education and credentials. They also pay well so it is worth it to spend the money to get the education and credentials.
