Several that I have frequented in the past about different topics have little to no activity. I recently searched for one dealing with a personal matter and all the ones that came up were quite dead.
As another person said I think a lot of people have turned to other social media avenues where there are more people with experience who are very helpful and not just out to pounce on a newby.
