Because the non English Speaking MTs cannot do this job without help. I'm so tired of being treated like a stupid child. Go back to straight typing, go back to American MTs. You cannot tell me, Mmodal, that you are charging the hospitals less than you did 20 years ago, back when we did the job with all Americans, back when we took pride in our jobs, back when we transcribed, and back when this was a Career, not a minimum wage job. As with everything, you get what you pay for and there are absolutely things that a computer cannot do better than a human.
