1. At the time I worked as the supervisor in the cardiology department of a major teaching hospital and the in-house MT made more than I did in my salaried position.
2. Learning new things every day and in the "old days" the flexibility.
3. The low pay, inflexibility, companies penalizing the MTs for the doctor's errors, and the current state of the industry.
4. Worked at a hospital for 10 years, home for the last 21.
5. Don't do it. Greedy MT companies decided they wanted a piece of the pie and it has become a career of low pay, impossible demands, and high stress.
6. I work in QA with 31 years of experience.
7. I'm an IC and work between 4 to 9 hours a day M-F.
