We are currently looking to hire a part-time medical transcriptionist with experience to cover for vacations and also sick days (during which time it would be full time work), as well as occasional backup on an everyday basis (not very frequent). This would be on an independent contractor basis (remotely).
I currently manage three transcriptionists and together we support Cardiac Surgery Associates, S.C., a Chicago-based group of cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons. We are looking for a fourth transcriptionist for backup as outlined above.
Pay Rate: 0.13 cpl
Necessary Equipment: Digital foot pedal and headphones. Transcription is done through Dataworxs Audioworxs Player which will be downloaded onto your computer.
