And vs. or/infraspinatus - Toddxx

Posted: Nov 22nd, 2016 - 12:29 pm

Two questions:

1. When a doctor says, "He denies fevers, chills, or night sweats," is the use of and correct or is the use of or?  I feel as though "and" makes more sense, but it also sounds a bit odd.

2. One doctor I do often says, "there is full strength in the infraspinatus, supraspinatus, forward flexion, and abduction."

Now, shouldn't it be there is full strength OF the infraspinatus and supraspinatus with forward flexion and abduction, or do you suppose doc means infra/supra testing?

Thanks in advance! :)
