According to Best Practices Page 65, Appendix 3, Acceptable Terms,
"Disk.... referencing body structures, e.g., intervertebral or ophthalmic"
BOS and AMA prefer and are trending to disk "unless ophthalmologic use."
Yet in 1 report you will have the word 50+ times and each time it alternates with disk AND disc!!! How irritating that they can't even make it consistent THROUGHOUT A DANG JOB!!!!
