Sorry, but in reading the ad, it says you don't have to take the test at Career Step because it is based on medical and their work is mostly not medical, but legal interviews. The ad does say how much they pay and you said they did not. I think maybe you put the title down for the wrong job? If anyone made you take a test and THEN told you they don't hire from California, you should try to contact the CEO of the company and complain because that is just plain cruel. You should have been screened before a test, but too bad they are pushing out Californians. I live in Oregon and our minimum wage is higher now too, so now I am worried.
