you are talking about if you quit not laid off.
I applied right on Sep 30, the day all the CA MTs got laid off, and I'm expecting my first UE check soon which, by the way, is MORE than I was making as of late at Scruance.
Could NOT be happier I got laid off!!! Gonna take a break for a couple months and get some well-needed rest after being a slave at this place, then I'll find a better job which, frankly, is ANY job.
