The petition is still in circulation. It is very disappointing that the numbers are not higher. All MTs should be signing it to show their support even if the wording may not be exactly what they want. At least it is something. Somebody decided to speak up and take a chance. Sadly, MTs are horrible at sticking together.
About the walkout, to have a successful walkout, you would need to have a very high level of participation to make this successful. Again, due to low MT participation/lack of solidarity, MTs being frightened to take a chance, this is unlikely to happen.
