"Level 3 lymph nodes" - CuriousMT

Posted: Oct 18th, 2016 - 10:13 am In Reply to: Lymph nodes - Roman numerals or Arabic? - CuriousMT

Here's an example of what I'm trying to figure out:

On a subcarinal biopsy showing lymph nodes involved by metastatic squamous cell carcinoma, there were "level 3 lymph nodes positive for metastatic squamous cell carcinoma."

Now, the radiology report has it listed just as above, with an Arabic number 3. But these radiology reports for this clinic are horrible and have misspellings left and right.

Thoughts on whether that should remain Arabic, or should it be "Level III lymph nodes..."
