The Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero (DSH-A) is a secure public sector hospital providing inpatient forensic services for mentally ill adult males who our court committed throughout the State of California. We are located on the beautiful central coast of California.
The minimum qualifications are Either one year of experience performing the duties of an Office Assistant (Typing), Range A in California State service OR Two years of of experience in typing and clerical work, at least one year of which shall have been in work of a medical nature requiring the transcription of dictation from a dictating machine on medical matters and the preparation of a wide variety of medical records and reports.
