Long Long ago... I started working for a company called Focus. We had a "team" and had weekly team calls which were always fun and very helpful for knowing our accounts and their quirks. We didn't mind when workloads got heavy and we had to pitch in a bit extra, because we had our friends to work with. We could even chat while working over our "Yahoo" app. It really had a whole different spirit back then. Then - dun dun dun-- Focus was bought by Nuance and everything started sliding into the eternal pit of doom. We were cut off from our fellow workers. We had no more autonomy and no more "caring" about our accounts. Now it was strictly line counts and errors crap, living in fear of your weekly QA percentages, etc. Way to ruin a great company you jerks.
