It used to be that ESLs would be coached by us. We would delicately let them know how to improve their English and dictation skills.
We, as MLSs, are now basically told to deal with it. We have no recourse. We get a bad dictator who is dictating on a bad mobile device and our pay gets docked if we can't understand them.
How can these people communicate with their patients? Something needs to be done about this!
