I don't understand this. Nuance is the transcription service for the hospital for which I work. For the record 90% of the reports are transcribed in India (not my choice). I get all kinds of crazy things back in reports because we are a "verbatim" account. I hate the word "verbatim" in regards to transcription. I asked once if the transcriptionists were allowed to use common sense, and I was told no. However, being ESL transcriptionists, I don't know if common sense applies.
