Nuance decided that all errors that involve numerals/digits are 3-point errors. This includes ages, lab #s, etc. The "WHY" of why this has to be that way was not explained to me, though, and when I pressed for a better explanation, none was ever given and I finally stopped asking. It's utterly ridiculous, though, that I can tell you.
