SkyScription is growing again and is in need of additional speech recognition editors.
SkyScription Transcription & Documentation Services is a Panama City, Florida based transcription service run by industry veterans with over 25 years experience. Our goal is to provide accurate and cost effective transcription services rich with features designed to automate, improve efficiency and overall information management. SkyScription delivers uncompromised turnaround times while providing clients the added value of reporting services, workflows, report archival, an unparalleled technology infrastructure, and dedicated technical and customer support.
PLATFORM: Fluency for Transcription (formerly called DocQScribe). If you are not familiar with this platform it has a built-in expander, spellchecker, QA feedback feature, and a job search feature to search past reports by physician or patient. Client profiles (account specifications) are also built into the platform.
EQUIPMENT: USB foot pedal. Windows 7, 8, or 10 operating system.
IC: Independent contractor positions only. You are responsible for your own taxes and will be supplied with a 1099 at the end of the year.
US BASED: We do not accept applications from MTs residing outside of the United States or from non-US citizens.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 years’ recent experience at minimum with advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, medications, and laboratory values. Experience with editing of speech recognition preferred! Available work consists of basic 4 Acute Care dictation with or without operative reports. Some clinic and specialty accounts are available.
ESL EXPERIENCE: ESL experience is a plus.
RESUME: Please include if you have prior Fluency experience, as well as provide the days/times you are requesting to work.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift time range at this time. Weekend work is available and first preference will be given to those who would be willing to include a weekend day in the schedule you choose.
SCHEDULE: We consider part-time 4 hours a day and full-time 8 hours a day. Split shifts are acceptable. No p.r.n. positions available.
ACCOUNTS: You will be assigned to a primary and secondary account.
LINE RATE: Speech Recognition, 4 cpl including spaces based on a 65-character line.
SPEECH RECOGNITION: 99% of work load.
START DATE: Immediate start if you have Fluency/DocQScribe experience. Otherwise, start up is usually within 1-2 days. Explanation of the platform takes approximately 1.5 hours and is done via web conference. You will be on 100% QA review until released by the QA staff.
DIRECT DEPOSIT: Every 2 weeks a direct deposit will be made into your account. We do not hold you back 2 weeks. Example: Pay period ends on Sunday at midnight – your funds will be direct deposited the following Friday.
TESTING: Waived at this time due to immediate need for MTs and heavy work load.
