I don't know of any IC who can get unemployment benefits, unless it is off of a job they worked at as an actual employee maybe before they did MT IC work. It just probably depends upon the MTSO as to how ready they are to sell off or not. But let's face it, we're all getting screwed on this IC status as so many MTSO's are still wanting to order us around, wanting schedules, etc. and that's not classified as IC.
