Ohio - as long as we get minimum wage - all smiles Posted: Sep 23rd, 2016 - 5:10 pm In Reply to: Labor Board, no attorney needed... sm - Anon
Ohio is all about employers and nothing for the employee. As long as they pay minimum wage and time and a half for OT over 40 hours weekly, that is all the employer has to do.
I doubt I would get anything in this state because the labor board here is so pro employer and so against employee.
However, I did do the calculations a long time ago found the off the clock to be about 20 minutes daily regardless of how fast I went. Daily 20 minutes off the clock is 1.25 hours weekly for a full time employee, or 65 hours annually for a full time employee.
But, Ohio labor board does not care.
