It's nepotism beyond belief. Payroll used to be run by the owner's sister, who had absolutely no formal education or training in accounting/finance. She simply got the job because she was family, regardless of her total lack of qualifications. The Director of Operations is the owner's sister-in-law. The CFO is her husband. Need I say more? The entire company is all run by family and close family friends. I'll bet none of them got paid late.
