A responsible business does not transfer their cash flow issues onto their employees or contracted employees. It is the responsiblity of the employer to always have the resources to pay their labor expenses whether or not they are having problems with payment from their clients. These are 2 different contractual relationships. Expecting employees or the ic to expect to wait for payment because the employer client is a late or nonpayment is risking a lawsuit or report to the labor board.
