I also have had good audits for quite a while now but now have gotten a CPSE (put pt age as 42 as dr dictated instead of 43 which was actual age)and that has dropped me way down (40 line report)so I feel your pain. I used to really get depressed about these errors but I don't get that way as much anymore. I don't believe one year off on a patient's age deserves a 3-point error but they are never going to listen to that. What really upsets me about it is how much difference that one mistake makes in my paycheck (as if I sit there and decide to make the mistake on purpose). So frustrating.
