Petition Update - MTs for Change Posted: Sep 19th, 2016 - 11:57 am
The petition link and call for signatures has been placed as a sticky at the top of the MTStars board for better visibility to enable members to recieve the notice and this signing opportunity, either by name or anonymously. We encourage posting the link on social media, asking friends and family to sign, etc. We are already in process of contacting involved parties mentioned in the petition as well as the media, and the more signatures present, the better.
I understand what it is like to have worked for 16 years as an MT and watch the industry deteriorate with every passing year; hoping to appeal to management with "reason and logic" to no avail, or hoping that somebody would change and fix the situation. Too many think the situation is inevitable, that technology has replaced us, not understanding how it really works, that offshoring cannot be stopped, etc., when it can. Having been pushed too far, the time has come to stop waiting, and to push back, and to keep pushing.
