That's why you actively look for work. - Yup Posted: Aug 27th, 2016 - 1:08 pm In Reply to: I think they consider claiming clock hours while not - actively working in production
Explain how the company will prove without a shadow of a doubt that you were not looking for work while on the clock.
Stay on the clock, look for work.
Do you know why they give MUP if your line count ends up being less than your state's minimum wage? Ask yourself why Nuance doesn't accuse everyone who receives MUP of perpetrating time clock fraud.
If you get a chance, take a good long look at the OOW policy and ask yourself why the employee is the determiner of when to clock out and not the supervisor. Why would the supervisor, to whom you must report and answer to, not issue the directive to clock out?
Now, go to unemployment and tell them that you clocked out of your shift voluntarily without your supervisor specifically instructing you to do so and that's why you only worked 12 hours a week for the last 3 months. Then, demand unemployment benefits based on a full-time work status and prepare to be amazed and the peals of laughter you will encounter.
