It had no value. My employer did not reimburse me for the exam fee. My employer did not compensate me for having the credential; I earned exactly the same as my noncredentialed coworkers. I had to take the same pre-employment tests as all other applicants and so future employers also did not value it enough to assume that my having it meant that I was competent to do the job.
Given that, and given the expense involved with achieving and maintaining it, why would I bother?
