As it really means squat, back then, and now.
It was only made up by a bunch of old hens who thought they were the be all and end all authority in transcription.
They changed things every few years to sell more books, and screw MTs out of more money, while championing jobs to India.
Why have any respect at all for anything from them or about them?
Nope. CMT = CRAPT IMHO. I'm just as good an MT of 25+ years as those with the CMT. All they can really do with that degree now is use it for paper in the bathroom.
