USB is - the way to go

This subject comes up a lot. Someone already suggested you look into the Novatel USB unit. I use the Pantech UML290 through Verizon, no bigger than a pack of gum, just plug into a USB port on your PC, and you have a wired Ethernet connection. This is not a jetpack, it is a dedicated device, meaning it can only be used on one device at a time. You have to plug it in to make it work. Therefore, it is not wireless.
