Very discouraged student - INTEARS

I am about 90% finished with CS coding course and I feel like I have learned very little. I feel very unprepared for taking their final, not to even mention trying to get certified. I have been an MT for 14 years and thought that would help me....WRONG!! I feel like the level of knowledge that we need, as far as coding procedures and such, is ridiculous! It is almost like we should be in medical school to be able to do this. Just need some encouragement right now
