MT Training - AJ

Hi Bill, This is one of many fields between a rock and a hard place, in that you need experience to get hired or get a contract, but no-one will hire you unless you have experience. You can tell from the variety of responses that the climate in this "profession" is circling the drain. Most of us are disillusioned, disgusted, disappointed, disenfranchised, and every other dis you can imagine. However, it sounds like your CV is pretty full, and you probably need to research first if any of your existing qualifications will work in a remote environment. Maybe consult with a headhunter about it? If not, then at least think about coding, as it is likely to pay more than transcription. Some online and learn-at-home courses will provide a reference upon completion of the course (maybe 3-6 months) and that reference is your ticket to obtaining a position with employee or IC status. Best of luck, and try to forgive those of us who are too far gone to be kind to others.
