even part-time, make sure you keep under the allowable amount you're allowed to earn. Four years ago, mine was around $14,000 per year. I don't remember the exact amount. I'm not sure what it is now, but I know it has gone up. You can check on the SS website. Once I hit 66 (my full retirement age), this wasn't a problem anymore.
