Can someone please tell me if the following job exists:
I want to work for a company that has a database of sound files or a queue of sorts. I go in and take sound files whenever I want and whatever quantity I want. Some days I might not take any files.
If I take a sound file, then of course I commit to whatever TAT is expected and I produce quality work. But there is essentially no pressure for productivity.
Is this a pipe dream? I am starting my job search and don't want to sound like a fool if this is unheard of flexibility. But transcribing is not my priority career and I want to use it as supplemental income, essentially whenever I have time!
