We were lied to and our pay cut by the same percentage that would yield the same pay for 3x the production.
When their declaration about how much money we would earn first came out, my attitude was 'wait and see.' The math just did not work out. And the math still does not work out. Effectively, if you have stellar ASR with nil corrections and do not have to fill in any ADT, you could do 3x the amount of production. Basically, straight typing usually/often is a 1 minute dictation to 3 minutes straight typing ratio. To make 3x the production, you would have to edit 3x the number of minutes, which comes out to a 1 to 1 ratio of dictation to editing. The ratio just not work out. I see some people in our group have really high production numbers, but they have a lot of pre-canned templates.
