Hello, waaay back in the beginning... I worked for Transcriptions, LTD based in Miami,FL. Transcriptions, LTD morphed into Medquist, which morphed into M-Modal. (I left before the last acquisition/transition from MQ to M-Modal.) Anyone remember Jeff K, Bob E, Ray D, and Dalfa B?
Anyway, last I remember they had a platform called Enterprise, which in my opinion is the best platform I've ever worked on (way more user friendly than Escription). Anyway, after leaving MQ, I went to Webmedx (which was acquired by Nuance). Nuance is the WORST company I ever worked for, I strongly disliked the FIESA system and feedback.
Lastly, worked 1 yr as IC for TTS which was OK, but come Taxx tiime I discovered working as IC was not cost effective for me.
I wanta know if the working conditions at M-Modal are acceptable. I would be tier 3 transcriber (op notes, cardiac interventions, etc). Do they have decent work volume, is there an incentive for production? Thanks for any replies.
