My hospital outsourced about 3 years ago to PJ&A. When the hospital was actually sold, the company uses overseas Nuance transcription, so PJ&A fired us all without any warning a couple months later, after training us to edit. Overnight FedEx telling us the next day was our last. I didn't do any editing for the hospital. Every word was typed at the time. The hospital bought ESR that the doctors had to edit. I am sure you know how that goes. It was embarrassing. Now the Nuance stuff has 30 blanks in reports. Definitely a different standard than we have.
