I applied for a general transcription job and received a very polite, "thanks but no thanks" response. She cited that I had only listed MT experience and said that it NEVER works out when MTs transition into general transcription because it's "just too difficult" to go from single-speaker to multiple-speaker dictations.
I am just not accepting that it's impossible to do, as though we are handicapped or something!
