4+ years acute care experience
At least 100+ wpm
Able to work per diem with us at first and then full shifts once the hospital is on board with us
Extensive medical terminology knowledge for all reports: Ops, admissions and discharges, EEG, EKG, chemical dependency reports, etc., etc.
Most work is speech recognition with very little typing
Most of all, they must have the experience and want to work and be dependable for all shifts.
0.8 cpl for actual/straight transcription work performed or 0.4 cpl for editing
