I have this one dictator (a FNP) who clears her throat loudly CONSTANTLY every single time she dictates. Every once in a while she will say "excuse me," but very rarely. I can't figure out why some people have to clear their throats all the time? I hardly ever have to clear my throat!! Then a few minutes ago she began coughing so loudly and it sounded like her microphone or phone or whatever was in her mouth, I swear. Oh my gosh.. if they could only hear themselves, they would be mortified!! (At least I hope they would be!) I feel slightly better now...
