The 8 cents a line for transcription does not include the templates. Only 1 cent a line for that. They are extensive and intended to be so you never enter such a thing as CHIEF COMPLAINT on your own and get paid for it. (I don't know how the template works for VR.) So you basically make 7 cents a line, I would think, but this would GREATLY depend on the account/provider/type of job. They tell you get 8 cents, but it is not really 8 cents. I was also told I was not paid for spaces when I was hired, but I don't know that that is true. If that is the case--anyone know for certain???--then the pay is even less than other companies.
