I also lost my in house MT position at Washington Health System in Washington, PA in January 2014. The position was outsourced to Clear Choice Transcription. We were offered positions with CCT but only 1 out of 14 took the offer. I was in the SIEU union and receiving nothing from the union. I was lucky and received UC for 6 months. We found out we lost our jobs when there was an announcement over the public address system in the hospital that the new dictation system was fully operational. The MR director did not have the decency to see us some time that day.
