I work QA and am sure as heck not paid hourly. I get .04 cpl after 18 bloody years (for one of the Big 2)to essentially retype most of what I get. That being said, if someone says "am-a-lo-dipine" I *might* give it to them, but when a med is pronounced even more bizarrely, like "atastorvatine, "atorvastin" etc., -- or even worse, all the variations on antibiotics like "ceftizime" --NO WAY am I going to give it to them. Not only is that crazy dangerous for the patient, but I believe the dictator needs to see the blank and be alerted to their mispronunciation. ESPECIALLY as there are not only so many sound-alike meds, but also dictators whose mispronunciation makes the sound-alike situation even worse.
