I'd like to hear from others who have done it.
Some reports are badly typed and not proofread. I have sent comments via the feedback button and have had no response. The report selection looks slapdash. Some reports code smoking or nicotine dependence and some do not. One op note was coded that the patient was drunk when shot, another report listed motorcycle accident as the cause of fracture but that wasn't coded. I can't tell what are mistakes and what aren't. The other day I had an OP report about a subdural hematoma evacuation and the ICD10 code was for NONtraumatic subdural hematoma AND history of falls. Is that possible?
