Express Scribe Free Trial - Hot Keys don't work - ME Posted: Jun 22nd, 2016 - 2:27 pm
I just loaded Express Scribe's free trial to my laptop to prepare for testing. According to the tutorial, F4, F7, F8, and F9 are supposed to function as "hot keys" for the player commands if one doesn't have a foot pedal. F1 is supposed to have a user manual.
Depressing these keys does nothing but evoke their Windows functions. Am I missing something here? On my other keyboard, there was a toggle switch ("insert" key at top) which gave you additional Function key functions. Alas, there isn't one on this laptop. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
